Banasthali is situated in district Tonk in the State of Rajasthan. It is 72 Kms south of the state capital Jaipur.
The nearest airport to Banasthali is Sanganer (Jaipur) and is connected with the major cities of India. Jaipur is connected to Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Indore, Goa, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Cochin, and all the major airlines are operating through jaipur.
Banasthali is situated 7Kms. off Jaipur-Kota National Highway (No.12) One has to go 7Kms west from 65Kms (from Jaipur) stone on the Highway.
There are buses of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation plying daily from Jaipur to Banasthali Campus.
The bus takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes to cover the distance Jaipur to Banasthali University.
Persons traveling by bus from Kota will have to disembark at Newai and take connecting bus.
BANASTHALI NEWAI Railway Station is on the Jaipur-Sawaimadhopur- Mumbai Broad gauge line of the North-Western Railway. It is equidistance from Jaipur and Sawaimadhopur, 66Kms from both.
JAIPUR is on Delhi-Ahmedabad Broad-gauge main-line of North-Western Railway and there are direct trains to Jaipur from Delhi-Junction, Agra Fort, Ahmedabad, Indore, Mumbai, Udaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Chennai, Bangalore etc.
SAWAIMADHOPUR is on Delhi- Mumbai Central Broad-gauge main-line of the Western Railway. There are direct trains to Sawaimadhopur from Agra Fort also.
Special Arrangements have been made for parents, guardians and students to utilize this facility between Jaipur and Banasthali and site seeing at concessional rate. Fare can be paid directly and the copy of agreement can be seen or can be checked with the driver.
